The Legend of David and Goliath

Have Chi Will Travel

David was a young shepherd boy. He lived many years ago in Israel. Goliath was a fierce soldier from Gath. He was nine feet tall. He bragged that he could defeat any Israelite. All the Israelite soldiers were afraid to fight him. However, David was not afraid. He fought Goliath. Goliath tried to kill David with a spear and a sword. David threw a sharp stone with his sling at the giant. The stone hit Goliath in the forehead and killed him instantly. David believed that the God of Israel helped him win over the fierce giant from Gath.
